Ingredients

  • 500 grams flour
  • 1/2 active dry yeast (package, Fermipan or Vahine)
  • 70 grams butter
  • 1 eggs
  • 70 grams sugar
  • 160 milliliters milk
  • 400 grams ham
  • 400 grams bacon
  • 70 grams raisins
  • 70 grams pitted olives
  • 1 egg yolks (+ brown sugar to glaze)

Directions

  1. 1Mix all dough ingredients.
  2. 2Program bread machine for 15 seconds at speed 4 and then program it for 3 minutes at spike speed.
  3. 3Let rise until dough doubles in volume.
  4. 4Roll out dough with a rolling pin into a rectangle.
  5. 5Arrange slices of ham in a layer.
  6. 6Top ham layer with bacon slices.
  7. 7Sprinkle olives and raisins evenly over bacon.
  8. 8Beginning on the narrower side, roll up dough.
  9. 9Place the roll on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in preheated oven at 180°C (approximately 350°F) for 1 hour.
  10. 10While still warm, brush with egg yolk and sugar.
  11. 11Bake for 3-4 additional minutes. Serve warm.
