  • 3 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 pound lean ground turkey
  • 1 green pepper (small, seeds and stem removed and chopped)
  • 1 small onion (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Spike Seasoning (optional, but recommended. If you don’t consider Spike to be Paleo, substitute any approved all-purpose seasoning blend.)
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ancho chiles (ground, or use more regular chili powder if you don’t have Ancho)
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 cans diced green chiles
  • juice
  • 14 1/2 ounces petite diced tomatoes
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 2 cups homemade beef stock (or use beef or chicken broth from a can or carton if you don’t have homemade)
  • 1 sweet potato (large, diced into cubes, about 1 lb. diced sweet potato cubes)
  • 1 tablespoon green Tabasco sauce (or more, to taste)
