I made them for my husband (I don’t like seafood). He said they were very tasty, but I had a hard time keeping the cakes together when browning in the pan. They kinda crumbled. They may not have been the prettiest, but he said they tasted good!

Super quick. Super easy. Worked way better than the other paleo crab cakes I made and also tased better. Even my kids liked them! I did use olive oil instead of avocado or coconut oil though. It came out great still. And the mayo with the juice from a lemon made it to die for.

I'm a novice in the kitchen, and going through an online cooking coarse, so first time making these and they are a keeper for sure! My wife and I loved them. Even 2 of my 3 teenagers approved. Followed directions exactly, except could not find avacado oil (store was sold out) so bought a combo of avacado-coconut- olive (can't recall all in the blend), and they stayed together even during flipping, and tasted great!

Taste was ok. Couldn't get them to stay together. That was the biggest issue. Tried adding a lot more coconut flour, but that still didn't help. Maybe needs to be in the fridge longer.

I used half fresh crab and half shrimp meat due to availability of crab. Best crab cake ever! My 7 year old was begging for more.
