  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced ginger

  • 1/2 teaspoon jeera (cumin powder)
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 pinch kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves)

  • 2 teaspoons ghee (or oil)
  • 1 pinch asafoetida (or of hing)

    It was good! I made some substitutions based on what I had on hand and cut back the cayenne pepper (red Chili pepper means cayenne). We ate it with parathas and used frozen spinach.

    Followed the recipe as written and worked well! The overall taste was good but lacked the richness in flavor I was hoping for. I used oil instead of ghee, which could be part of it. next time I’ll make it with vegetable bullion. Thanks for the recipe!

    Turned out real yummy- modified it a bit with red chilli and some yogurt. I let it simmer for a good 20 mins to let the paneer soak in the the flavors.

    Good but I think the garam masala should be adjusted to a 1/2 tsp. For the rest it's pretty good.

    so good! i left out one or two of the ingredients bc of availabilty, but still delicious. exactly what i wanted, have made it many times.
