Boneless skinless chicken breasts provide the perfect base for this tantalizing and fresh Oriental-style sauce. The chicken needs to be marinated in the sauce for 12 hours, so plan ahead. Once the chicken hits the frying pan, be prepared for aromas that will make your mouth water. Served over rice for a complete, heathy meal. Your family will love the decadent flavors and spices if this rich and hearty sauce.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 garlic clove (peeled and minced)
  • 1 centimeter fresh ginger (shredded)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Directions

  1. Place the chicken with the garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes in a container. Mix well, making sure to coat the chicken well.
  2. Cover the container with plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator for 12 hours.
  3. Place a frying pan on the stove on low heat. Add the olive oil and saute the chicken for 8 to 10 minutes on each side.
  4. Remove the chicken from the pan and serve it with rice or salad. You may also add lemon and coriander to the chicken to give it more flavor.

This was a unique dish to make and it brought a whole new insight to the world of chicken for me and my family. It tastes just like the real thing and a much better option than getting it from a restaurant. I will be making it again and would rate it at 4 stars.
