Festive cupcakes that will brighten any holiday. They are perfect for any time you want something different. Unlike many cupcakes, they are very moist. Featuring a hint of orange to go along with their sweetness, your family may just have a new favorite.

Ingredients

  • 240 grams flour
  • 200 grams sugar
  • 200 milliliters olive oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 envelope yeast
  • 1 orange
  • 1 pinch salt

Directions

  1. 1Preheat the oven to 220 Celsius.
  2. 2Beat the eggs, sugar, and orange juice with an electric mixture until white and fluffy. Add the olive oil and mix for a few seconds.
  3. 3Add the sifted flour with the yeast and salt, stirring slightly. Add the orange rind and stir to incorporate.
  4. 4Pour the batter into lined cupcake tins and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  5. 5Remove the cupcakes from the refrigerator, sprinkle with sugar, and bake for 5 minutes. Lower the temperature to 200 C and bake until golden brown, approximately 12 minutes.
