Orange Pork Tenderloin RoastHoje para Jantar
500 grams pork loin
salt (to taste)
pepper (to taste)
1/2 orange (juice and zest)
4 slices bacon
2 tablespoons butter (or margarine)
1 bouillon cube (meat stock)
2 garlic cloves

1Season pork with salt, pepper and orange juice.
2Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
3Remove meat from marinade and place on work surface.
5Place bacon slices over meat and tie kitchen twine.
6Heat butter in a large, heavy pan and add pork loin.
7Cook over low heat for a few minutes and turn until meat is lightly browned on all sides.
8Drizzle with marinade.
9Cut orange peel into julienne strips and add to pan.
10Prepare broth with bouillon cube and add to pan.
11Cover and simmer over low heat for about 40 minutes.
12Serve with salad and French fries or white rice.
