Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup fresh breadcrumbs
  • 1 onions (finely chopped)
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 3 slices orange (halved)
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 2 teaspoons tomato paste
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8 x 5 1/2 inch loaf pan.
  2. Mix together all meatloaf ingredients until combined. Season. Press into prepared pan and bake for 30 mins.
  3. Arrange orange slices on top of meatloaf. Whisk together remaining glaze ingredients and spoon over top. Bake for 15 mins. Let rest in pan for 10 mins then slice. Serve cold with salad or hot with vegetables.
