Ingredients

  • 1 orange
  • 300 grams sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 natural yogurt
  • 100 grams grated coconut
  • 150 grams flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Directions

  1. Mix together all ingredients except the flour and the baking powder in a bowl.
  2. Using an electric mixer or a food processor, mix the ingredients to create a soft dough.
  3. Add the flour and the baking powder and stir just until combined.
  4. Put the dough in a cake pan and cook for 40-45 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven and wait 5 minutes before removing the cake from the mold.

This cake is very tasty. The orange and the coconut are flavors that compliment each other nicely. This is a good cake recipe to have on hand.
