Description

Freeze your Popsicle molds in advance of making these creamy, orange-scented ice pops, which are made with a mix of orange water-flavored ricotta, milk and powdered sugar. Candied fruit is suspended throughout the pops, adding additional sweetness and a welcome — if surprising — chew. Try serving these at your next dinner party in place of cake. They'll keep in the freezer for up to a month — not that they'll last that long.

Ingredients

100 grams ricotta
60 milliliters whole milk
3 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 tablespoon fruit (candied mixed)
essence (orange blossom)

Directions

1Sieve the ricotta with the milk and powdered sugar.
2Add the candied fruit and a few drops of orange blossom essence.
3In a previously frozen Popsicle mold, insert the sticks.
4Fill each mold with the mixture and leave to set for 10 to 12 minutes.
5Gently ease the pops from the molds with the sticks and garnish with candied fruit.
