Ingredients

  • 4 slices whole wheat bread
  • 2 tablespoons caesar dressing
  • 1/2 cup bell peppers (canned, in strips)
  • 8 slices turkey breast
  • 4 slices bologna (turkey)
  • mozzarella cheese (sliced)
  • 2 slices low-fat American cheese

Directions

  1. Warm the bread and spread Ceasar dressing on top. Add the bell pepper strips.
  2. Add the turkey breast and bologna slices, and the cheese slices on top.
  3. Grill in the oven until the cheese melts. Serve immediately.

This version of a grilled cheese sandwich tastes great with hot tomato soup. I added some mixed greens and slices of fresh tomatoes to mine, and it was delicious. I also love eating open faced sandwiches with chips and crisp pickles.
