This recipe turned out great. My family doesn't like mushrooms so I omitted them and it still tasted great.

The ingredient list and directions are different. Nevertheless, I winged it and enjoyed the dish. I added one cup of sour cream but left out the worcestershire and beef bouillon. Tasty dish.

The directions and this ingredients list do not match up. The link for the directions take you to a recipe that calls for double the broth, 1.5X the noodles, and flour instead of corn starch, and more sour cream. It also has 5X the calories- which I figured this nutrition information was wrong (anything with sour cream will have more than 290 calories). I would never make a recipe as unhealthy as the other recipe lists. I made using the ingredients on this list. The sauce stayed broth, and it basically tasted like hamburger topped noodles. Will not make again.

Comments here are correct. Dish needed some seasoning. I used a pinch of nutmeg (fresh of course) and a splash of cognac ( Brandy would be fine as well) and that pepped it right up. Those are traditionally used in a stroganoff anyway so it was kind of a no brainer.

It turned out very well! A little on the bland side but I might have screwed up on the garlic measurement! I did add about an extra 1/4 cup of sour cream and the consistency was perfect! I didn't add salt or pepper while cooking which could have added to the milder flavor. I did simmer it a bit longer to allow the sauce to thicken a bit and it came out great. I paired it with some crescent rolls. Will definitely do this again!

I liked how quick this recipe was to make but it needs more seasoning. I added a good amount of garlic powder, black pepper and parsley to season it.
