    I think it would have been better had I caramelised the onions properly. The instructions aren't clear but the suggestion is to do it over medium to high heat for 30-40 minutes. Mine were burnt in much less time than that. I suspect it should have mentioned that the heat needs to be lowered. Aside from the bitter taste of the onions,it all tasted a bit bland

    This was great, although I did use a can of salad beans instead of chickpeas (which had chickpeas in it).
