Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup italian salad dressing (I recommend using Kraft light Italian it's the perfect consistency for this and it's what I used)
  • 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (more or less to taste)
  • 1 1/4 pounds chicken breast tenderloins
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 pound fresh asparagus (trimmed of tough ends, chopped into 2-inch pieces, look for thinner stalks. Green beans are another good option)
  • 1 1/2 cups matchstick carrots
  • 1 cup grape tomatoes (halved)

delicious! i used fresh green beans sweet onions yellow and red peppers and golden potatoes sliced thin.
Used balsamic salad dressing instead of Italian & it was so tasty & flavorful. Also substituted zucchini for the carrots, it paired nicely with the asparagus & the chicken. This is an amazing healthy option.
Pretty good. Next time I’ll add feta and bread.

Excellent second time making. It .You could put it on top of spaghetti if you want .Fast ,easy and absolutely delicious!!!
Delicious! Could have steamed the veggies more and cooked the chicken less.
I may have messed it up but the balsamic flavor was a little too strong. I might use a little less next time. overall it was delicious.

We found this to be quite bland. Perhaps the chicken should marinate first.

i want to try to cook its look nice and healthy,but im confuse its a lot of italian dressing which one is better.honestly im not keen of cooking but i want to try this recipe thnx.

I made this tonight....it was delicious and even my hubby loved it. We have been trying to find more healthy options and this fit the bill. I will make it again.

Really tasty, cheap, and easy to make. I've made it twice in the last month. It tastes pretty good reheated in the microwave, which is important to me since I like to bring leftovers to work. I added water chestnuts to add some texture.
