I like to put pineapple slices held by colorful toothpicks and a few whole cloves stuck in mine, then spread with the brown sugar and a bit of maple syrup then bake (or heat slowly if a pre cooked spiral kind). Been making these hams for over 50 years, and always a success and the house smells so good too.
