I used canned navy beans instead of dry no soaking necessary also shorter cooking time

Loved it. Just doubled the recipe for 20 people. Smoked a 15lb Brisket with it. Using a smoking Tex smoker. Oh ya!!!

Very good- used Anasazi beans that I cooked from dry beans a few days ago and I was trying to figure out what to use them in. This was a great recipe. I froze what I won’t be able to eat this week.

I loved this recipe. I used turkey bacon but by the time that the beans were finished baking the turkey bacon had soaked up the sweetness of the brown sugar and molasses that you couldn't tell the difference.

Great, I added 1/2 c more molasses, plus I added a dribble at the end. It gives it more depth and fuller flavor, in my opinion.
