Description

Curry meets the ocean in this unique octopus curry. Made with beer and bacon, this savory dish reaches its full potential over a bed of rice. Only a saucepan needed for cooking.

Ingredients

olive oil (to taste)
1 onions (medium)
5 garlic cloves
4 parsley sprigs (chopped)
1/4 red pepper
100 grams bacon (cut in thin strips)
500 grams cooked octopus
3 tablespoons tomato paste
1 tablespoon curry powder
1 beer (mini)
salt (to taste)

Directions

1In a saucepan, over medium heat in little olive oil, add the onion, garlic, parsley, pepper, and bacon. Season with salt to taste.
2Cook for 7 to 10 minutes.
3Add octopus, tomato paste, and curry. Stir very well.
4Once it starts boiling, add the beer, and wait until it boils again.
5Cook for another 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
6Serve warm with rice.
