Banana bread is a traditional and nostalgic favorite. Grandma usually had a fresh baked loaf every time you came over for a sweet afternoon treat when she had her tea or coffee. This Nuts and Chocolate Banana Bread takes that snack to a whole new level. It takes 75 minutes to prepare this decadent dessert that combines the sweetness of ripe bananas with the decadents of walnuts and dark chocolate

Ingredients

4 bananas (ripe)
230 grams granulated sugar
2 eggs
140 grams butter (soft)
250 grams flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
100 grams chopped walnuts
100 grams dark chocolate (cut into pieces)

Directions

1Preheat oven to 190 degrees Celsius.
2Mash the bananas with a fork, add the sugar.
3Pour this mixture into the food processor bowl and add both eggs.
4Mix well and then, add the butter.
5When you have a smooth batter, stir in the flour and baking powder. Mix well.
6Using a spatula, gently add the crushed nuts and chocolate.
7Cover your cake pan with parchment paper.
8Pour the batter into the pan and bake at least 1 hour or until the blade of a knife comes out dry.
9Let it cool down before tasting it with a nice hot chocolate.
