Nutella fans will rejoice in this easy, tangy cake, which incorporates sifted flour to ensure it's light. There's no real mystery to how it's made — just fill a silicone mold 3/4 of the way, top it with a Nutella-mascarpone filling and finish it with additional batter. Then, transfer it to the oven to bake, and enjoy the cake warm or once cooled — but definitely with a glass of milk or cup of hot tea.

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 250 grams sugar
  • 350 grams flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 200 grams mascarpone cheese
  • 3 tablespoons Nutella

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C.
  2. Beat the eggs with the sugar for at least 10 minutes.
  3. Add the milk and the flour sifted with the baking powder.
  4. Combine the nutella with the mascarpone cheese.
  5. Place 3/4 of the batter into a silicone cake mold, add the nutella/mascarpone mixture and top it with the remaining batter.
  6. Bake for approximately 30 to 40 minutes.
