Europe has enjoyed the taste of Nutella for many years. These brownies bring that flavor to the US and mix it with chocolate. Dust them with powdered sugar, or frost them to your taste. They fit well with a nice cup of hot cocoa during cold night.

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 70 grams sugar
  • 70 grams butter
  • 50 grams Nutella
  • 70 grams flour
  • 15 grams cocoa powder
  • salt
  • vanilla extract
  • 30 grams hazelnuts

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  2. Beat the egg and sugar, add the melted butter and mix thoroughly.
  3. Add the Nutella, flour, cocoa powder, salt, and vanilla and mix well.
  4. Add the hazelnuts to the mix and fold in gently.
  5. Lightly oil and flour a baking dish, Add the batter to the baking dish.
  6. Place the baking dish to the oven and bake for 20 minutes.
  7. Cool and cut into squares. Serve with ice cream.
