Ingredients

8 green tomatoes
water
1 green chilies (or 2, for a spicier flavor)
1/2 onions (coarsely chopped)
salt
ground black pepper
1 teaspoon cooking oil
1 avocado (small, diced)
1/2 cup lettuce (finely chopped)

Directions

1Cook the tomatoes in plenty of water.
2Separately, roast the chili.
3In a blender, add the tomatoes, 1/2 cup of water they were cooked in, the chili, onion, and salt and pepper to taste. Puree until smooth.
4Heat the oil in a saucepan and add the sauce. Bring to a boil and let it thicken for 5 minutes.
5Pour the sauce into a bowl. Add the avocado and the lettuce.
