Ingredients

  • 800 grams beef stew meat
  • 1 piece flour
  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 red onion (large, sliced into rounds)
  • 1/2 pound new potatoes
  • 1/2 pound peas (package)
  • 5 ounces vin santo (or another white wine)
  • 1 cup water
  • rosemary (chopped)
  • salt
  • flour

Directions

  1. Grease the slow cooker with some oil.
  2. Add the red onion, the meat, the new potatoes, a handful of peas, the wine, the water, and a pinch of chopped rosemary.
  3. Season with salt and stir.
  4. Cook on low for 6 hours, then cook for 1 hour on high.

This recipe is a 5 star recipe that is easy and simple to make. It was a hearty and flavorful beef stew that was very thick and packed full of chunky goodness. As for the potatoes, they were unbelievable. I already have this recipe in mind for mother's day with my mom.
