  • 19 ounces Johnsonville® Hot 'N Spicy Brats
  • 14.5 ounces diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 14.5 ounces stewed tomatoes
  • 1 onion (large, chopped)
  • 1 green pepper (chopped)
  • 1 cup water
  • 3/4 cup rice

    Directions

    1. Remove brats from casing, crumble into skillet and cook through. Drain and reserve.
    2. In a large saucepan, combine sausage, tomatoes with green chilies, stewed tomatoes, onion, green pepper and water.
    3. Bring to a boil. Add rice, reduce heat.
    4. Cover and simmer 20 to 25 minutes or until rice is tender.

    very good for how simple it is. i used Rotel tomatoes because the already have the green chilis in there and they have a flavor of their own. would def recommend.
