Description

The flavors of spring come alive in this fruity jam, combining nectarine and coconut with a splash of lemon. Made with just four ingredients, this jam is ready in 30 minutes. Recipe designed for electric jam maker.

Ingredients

  • 800 grams nectarines (unpeeled and pitted)
  • 1/2 lemon juice
  • 500 grams sugar
  • 25 grams grated coconut

Directions

  1. 1Wash the fruit very well. Use a sharp knife to cut in half, and remove the pit.
  2. 2Put it in the cup, add the lemon juice and the sugar.
  3. 3Chop for about 5 to 10 seconds in speed 5, depending on how consistent do you like the sweet to be.
  4. 4Add the grated coconut and set to 10 min., on temp. 100, speed 2.
  5. 5After this time, remove the small cup and replace it for the basket (helps evaporate the liquid quickly and avoids splashing).
  6. 6Program 20 min., temp. varoma, speed 2.
  7. 7After this time, immediately put the candy in sterilised vials.
  8. 8Cover with the lid facing down until it cools down completely.
