Description

These easy-to-master cookies start with a batter of creamed butter and almond flour, to which sugar, eight eggs and all-pupose flour are added. Almond and vanilla extracts up the flavor factor. Baked in molds lined with wax paper to prevent them from sticking, they come out of the oven lightly browned and invitingly sweet. Serve them as part of afternoon tea or in the morning with a cup of hot coffee.

Ingredients

  • 500 grams butter (softened)
  • 250 grams almond flour
  • 450 grams sugar
  • 8 eggs
  • 600 grams flour
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • almond extract (optional)

Directions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 180C.
  2. 2Cream the butter with the almond flour, add the eggs, one at a time, and then the sugar, flour, vanilla extract, and a few drops of almond extract.
  3. 3Line the molds with wax paper and fill to 2/3.
  4. 4Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
  5. 5Remove the molds from the oven and let cool.
