  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs (fine)
  • 3/4 cup butter (soft)
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 3 beaten eggs (well-)
  • 10 peaches
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar

    Directions

    1. Pat and press the 6 tablespoons of butter and the vanilla wafer crumbs into a 9"x13" pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool.
    2. Cream together the 3/4 cup of butter and the powdered sugar, then blend in the eggs. Spread this mixture over the crumb crust.
    3. Peel and slice 10 peaches and sweeten with 1/4 cup granulated sugar. Place over the butter mixture.
    4. Soften the cream cheese. Whip the heavy cream and sweeten with 2-3 tablespoons of granulated sugar. Add the cream cheese. Spread on the peaches. Freeze for several hours.
    5. Remove from freezer about 1/2 an hour before serving.
