Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (ready-rolled, cut into 4 squares)
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 1/2 pounds frozen mixed berries
  • 1 tablespoon sliced almonds
  • powdered sugar (for dusting)
  • whipped cream (to serve)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Lightly grease and line a baking tray. Fold in edges of pastry squares to form a 1cm border and place on tray. Brush all over with milk. Bake for 12-15 mins, until puffed and golden.
  2. Divide berries evenly between pastry squares. Sprinkle with almonds. Bake for 4-5 mins, until warmed through. Dust with powdered sugar and serve immediately with a dollop of whipped cream.
