Description

You won't believe that is dish comes together in just 15 minutes. Tender raw scallops are paired with chives, ginger, and lime juice then finished with a sprinkle of salt and pepper for a flavorful and simple appetizer. You can enjoy this tartare with toasted bread, on top of a simple green salad, or as is for a tasty savory snack. This cool dish is perfect to bring to a party or cook-out.

Ingredients

  • 8 scallops (large)
  • ginger (finely grated)
  • chives
  • lime juice
  • sea salt
  • white pepper

Directions

  1. Dice scallops. Finely chop a few chives. In a bowl, mix the scallops, a pinch of ginger, a trickle of lime juice, salt, and pepper.
  2. Arrange the tartare mixture in pretty glasses.
  3. Serve as is, or with slices of lightly toasted baguette drizzled with a little olive oil.
