Description
This is a glaze specifically for use on salmon however I think it would work for pork as well. I threw it together one night and it turned out pretty good. I added soy sauce the first time (after tasting as shown below) and it kinda ruined it in my book. If you prepare as shown below and the flavor is too powerful add a couple tablespoons of soy sauce and it well mellow it out dramatically. The rum is totally optional as well, I just don't like to make recipes without a little booze in them... I like to 'sample' the ingredients while I cook…
Note: this method will turn out a pretty chunky, almost thinned out apple sauce consistency, replace the apple with a cup, cup and a half of apple juice to get a liquidy version.

- Combine all ingredients in blender.
- Blend until smooth
- Taste and alter amounts/seasoning until you're starting with the mint flavor and ending with the apple with a little spice left over.
- Use as glaze for salmon, pork, etc.
- Pour the rest of the rum in a glass with your favorite mixer and enjoy further!
