Mini Strawberry Pies

O Meu Tempero


  • 1/2 puff pastry
  • 1 egg white
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 6 strawberries


  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F).
  2. Roll out dough at room temperature.
  3. Use a glass to cut out 3 circles.
  4. Pastry circles must be big enough to cover the wells of individual stainless steel muffin pans.
  5. Cut parchment paper in circles the size of the wells.
  6. Place parchment paper in wells and press pastry circles into well.
  7. Use a fork to prick the dough.
  8. Beat 1 egg white until stiff and continue beating while adding sugar.
  9. Puree three strawberries in a food processor.
  10. Mix strawberries, vanilla extract and egg mixture.
  11. Pour into pans.
  12. Bake in preheated oven for about 25 minutes.
  13. Garnish with strawberries.
