Ingredients

  • 200 grams milk chocolate
  • 3 large egg whites
  • 200 milliliters whipping cream
  • raisins (to taste)
  • port wine (to taste)
  • almonds (Skinned, to taste)

Directions

  1. Melt the chocolate broken into pieces in a water bath.
  2. Whisk the egg whites.
  3. In a bowl, whip cream until stiff peaks form.
  4. Soak the raisins in Port wine until they are soft, and drain.
  5. Toast the almonds lightly in a frying pan.
  6. Gently mix the egg whites gently with the chocolate.
  7. Pour chocolate in serving cups, then the whipped cream.
  8. Garnish with almonds and raisins to taste.
  9. Refrigerate before serving.

This creamy dessert lends itself to many toppings and garnishes. I've omitted the raisins and shaved a chocolate bar on top or a sprinkle of toasted coconut.
