Ingredients

  • 250 grams flour
  • 60 grams unsalted butter
  • 30 grams sugar
  • salt
  • 1 deciliter milk
  • 1 egg yolks (for brushing)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (approximately 400°F).
  2. Mix all ingredients until stiff dough forms.
  3. Divide dough into 22 pieces and shape each piece into a small ball.
  4. Place balls on a baking sheet greased with butter and flatten with palm of hand.
  5. Lightly brush with beaten egg yolk.
  6. Bake in preheated oven for about 15 minutes.
  7. Let cool and store in an air-tight container.
