Quick and easy. Yummy when short on time
Ryan Britton 25 Sep 2018
Quick to make but the flavor was off. (maybe too much sugar?)
Alexandra N. 26 Jun 2018
not great. dry. i wont make it again.
Jobelle 4 Jun 2018
Craving’s satisfied! I reduced the sugar though, just felt it’s a little too much. Still tasted so good! I’ll do it again!

it tasted perfect 😍😍
Trinity 8 Apr 2018
This was really fun and turned out exactly as planned (I recommend making it in the mug itself rather than a separate bowl and transferring it, though).
Jem Chryssafis 4 Apr 2018
It was great I put mine in for 2 and a half minutes and I recommend brown sugar more then white but I enjoyed it with some ice cream and I cup of milk
Paredes Lim 30 Mar 2018
Turned out great! Best served with ice cream
Portia 4 Mar 2018
Horrible. Flavor was gross. Almost burned up my microwave. Tried it twice. 1st for 2.5 mins. Turned it into a rock. 2nd for 1.5mins. It was some weird textured concoction. Horrible.
Aixa Rodriguez 23 Jan 2018
This is the worst thing I’ve ever tried. Like it’s so horrible all you can do is laugh at it. The texture is so odd. There’s soft spots mixed with hard spots. It tastes like a cheap lunchables brownie😭 won’t be trying again
Madi Maine 17 Jan 2018
Texture is weird, flavor is okay
Ushna 15 Jan 2018
I read all the reviews and followed the recipe to the letter but this is how mine turned out. Extremely disappointed with the result. Tastes more like a thick sauce being forced to act like a brownie with a very floury texture.
Alexxa 13 Jan 2018
Amazing, It turned out absolutely delicious!
Gray 6 Nov 2017
It’s more gooey than I expected and I cooked for 2.5 min. Also be VERY careful as the mug and brownie are extremely hot
Sarah Bush 31 Oct 2017
amazing with some ice cream!
Grandma K 29 Oct 2017
Yum it all I can say
Henrik Morild 24 Oct 2017
Didnt taste good at all, sorry
Natalie H. 21 Oct 2017
This turned out great! It tastes DELICIOUS and was so easy to make! I used vegetable oil instead of canola oil, and it turned out perfect! Definitely recommend!
Thembisa Gcanga 12 Oct 2017
Needed to put it in the microwave an extra 30 seconds but it was delicious 😋
Michelle Bromell Gregor 11 Oct 2017
Easy and good, not the best recipe I've tried but will most likely use it again though I'll shorten the time to make it less dry.
Derek Mansfield 2 Oct 2017
Super hot and crusty, but very good. Next time I might think about bling ingredients better and cooking less long.
Maja 2 Oct 2017
It turned out really good, I replaced sugar with fructose to make it a little bit healthier :)
May 21 Sep 2017
It turned out really well. Thanks for this awesome recipe!
Ashley Q. 27 Oct 2016
maybe i done it wrong or something but i microwaved it for 2 1/2 mins and it came out very dry kind of like sand
Sherry C. 29 Feb 2016
The brownie came out way too crumbly, nothing like the picture at all. I microwaved it for 1 minute only because I like my brownies more gooey and it was okay. Added vanilla ice cream on top to make it edible.
Fathima N. 19 Aug 2015
This was good, but a bit dry. I would microwave for 30 sec less next time. It tastes delish with ice cream and a magic shell
reese c. 17 Aug 2015
i love this recipe ill do these with my friends when they come over since we all love to cook!!! all my friends love this recipe too. this is the perfect thing to serve at a small party or when im with family
Hayden D. 16 Aug 2015
Loved this recipe soooo much! Added some vanilla ice cream on top and devoured it❤️ I used regular cocoa powder though and it tasted great!
Lee Ann R. 16 Aug 2015
It was fairly tasty, but too sweet for my preferences. I will reduce the sugar next time I make this. The consistency was more crumbly than gooey, so I will also try microwaving it for 1 minute and 15 seconds, rather than 1 1/2 minutes.

My kids and I LOVE this! I love that they can make their own dessert- and they are experimenting with other ingredients to add/leave out. They are now adding 1/8 teaspoon baking powder to get a bit more of a rise. They figured out how to substitute butter for oil, it has really got them THINKING and considering what they learn with other recipes. Who knew such a simple recipe for the microwave would strengthen their cooking confidence?
