These creamy, cheesy chicken breasts will, as their title says, melt in your mouth. The recipe is a Yummly original created by Sara Mellas.

  • 2 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts (pounded to 3/4-inch thickness, 2 lb. is about 4 breasts)

    Meh…. It was way too heavy for me. I love this kind of flavor but the Mayo and sour cream mix made it.. thick feeling. Not “melting”

    Love this... Made a small change. I didn't have any yogurt, so I substituted cream cheese. I softened it in the microwave, and mixed with the mayonnaise. I also substituted Monterey Jack cheese for the Parmesan. It was absolutely delicious & a hit with my picky 11-year-old grandson. I did change up the seasoning a bit, as well. Which, quite frankly, you can season depending on your personal preference. Using a bit of lemon juice, after seasoning, and then pounding down to 3/4", really makes a difference.

    Great base recipe, I did add a little paprika to the breasts and some cayenne and curry powder to the creamy mixture to kick it up a notch. I feel like it would have been a tiny bit too bland if I hadn't but it was delicious and the mayo-yogurt duo created such a beautiful texture and sauce :) will do again with other delicious seasonings in the future

    used mozzarella instead of parmesan and it was quite delicious. i would probably add celery seed and rosemary to give it a little more flavor if I make it again

    Tasty! Even my picky 8 year old liked it. I suggest serving it with a cheesy type rice or something with some flavor as the chicken itself is a little plain. (By itself).
