  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 large egg

  • 4 cups tomato sauce (prepared, plus extra if you like a lot of extra sauce)
  • 2 yellow onions (large, thinly sliced)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt
  • 2 cups gruyère (coarsely shredded)
