  • 1 green bell pepper (seeded and diced)
  • 1/4 cup onion (minced)
  • 1/4 cup oats
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 4 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • salt
  • ground black pepper
  • 6 bacon (strips)

    Directions

    1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
    2. Add the ground beef, bell pepper, onion, oats, breadcrumbs, tomato sauce, egg, and a pinch of salt and black pepper to a bowl. Mix well using your hands. If the mixtures comes out to be too moist, add more bread crumbs.
    3. Place the bacon on the bottom of a baking dish, Add the ground beef mixture on top of the bacon. Spread it out evenly.
    4. Add the baking dish to the oven for 40 minutes.
    5. Remove the oven from the oven and cool for 10 minutes before serving.
