  • 1 onion (large, chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 8 ounces fresh sliced mushrooms
  • 1 green bell pepper (chopped)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese (cubed)
  • 8 ounces pesto sauce
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
  • 1/4 cup chopped kalamata olives
  • fresh Italian parsley (chopped)
  • French bread slices (Toasted, or crackers)

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
    2. Cook sausage and onion in large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat 8 to 10 minutes or until thoroughly cooked, stirring frequently; drain.
    3. Stir in salt, pepper, mushrooms and bell pepper; cook and stir 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
