  • 2 cups masa flour
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken stock
  • 1/2 cup garlic oil
  • 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 cups chorizo (uncooked)
  • 1 1/2 cups chorizo (uncooked)
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/4 cup queso fresco (crumbled)
  • 2 Tbsp. avocados (diced)
  • 2 Tbsp. diced tomatoes

    Directions

    1. To prepare Dough, add all ingredients to Bowl of KitchenAid® Artisan Stand Mixer. Attach Bowl and Flat Beater to Mixer. Turn to Speed 4 and mix 4 minutes or until dough is smooth. Use the same dough to create tortillas, pupusas or sopes.
    2. To prepare Tortillas, Wrap both sides of tortilla press in plastic wrap. Shape dough into 28 (1 ounce)balls.Place one ball in center of press and flatten to make tortilla. Transfer to parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Repeat with remaining dough. Heat nonstick skillet
