  • 1 1/2 pounds carrots (peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces)

  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

These carrots were really delicious. Sprinkle lightly with the pepper flakes because the roasting intensifies the spiciness and was a Lil to much for the kiddos

I loved it, my husband did too but too spicy for kids!
I left out the chili flakes because my kids can't do heat in any way. If I were making these for myself alone, I will add the chili flakes. The sweetness needs the heat to balance it.
It burned! The 450 was too hot and the time I believe was to long in the oven. I won’t be adding the red pepper flakes again either. It ruined the sweet of the maple syrup.

Tasted Great!! Though I Substituted Maple Syrup with Agave Nectar and used less Crushed Red Pepper, great as a snack with a nice dip.
Perfect and deliciously sweet.
Followed the recipe, didn’t change anything and it was delicious!
They were great but a little spicy for the kids. Next time I make I will use less red pepper flakes.
