I used almonds instead of pecans cuz I didn’t have pecans the maple syrup and bacon really adds a unique combination of savory and sweet I’ll definitely make it again and get some pecans for next time

Easy to make and came out perfect! Needed more salt to make it salty and sweet!

I used frozen Brussels instead of fresh- if I had to change anything about it, oven roasting is the way to go. I’d probably bake the bacon for about 7 min at 4:25 on a rack with drip baking sheet underneath, then put cooked Brussels and squash and cinnamon and such underneath for the last 10 min or so, and crumble bacon in at the end. The flavors are much better in the oven

It was a big hit at Thanksgiving & Christmas! Loved the salty bacon and sweet maple syrup combo with soft veggies and firmer pecans.

I substituted acorn squash with kabocha (Japanese squash) and added in some apple at the end of the cook time and this turned out really well! Everyone loved it and I’ll definitely make it again!

Tasty twist on these veggies. Very flavorful. A lot of prep work for a side dish but over all worth it

So delicious! I ended up cooking both the sprouts and squash for about 3 minutes longer than the recipe to get them a little crispier and it was absolutely amazing. Even my boyfriend who doesn’t like brussel sprouts loves it.
