Warm weather and sunny days call for a cold refreshing treat. This recipe for Mango Popsicles will transport you to the sandy beaches of Mexico with the first lick. Made with fresh mangoes and lime, these Mango Popsicles feature a thin layer of tajin chamoy and chili powder to keep you on your toes. Combined with the mango puree and incorporated as a thin layer into each individual popsicle, the tajin chamoy and chili powder add a contrast not only in flavor but also in color.

Ingredients

  • 4 mango (Ataulfo, peeled)
  • 1/2 cup water (quantity may vary)
  • 2 lime
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • sauce (Tajin chamoy mild)
  • chili powder (Tajin)

Directions

  1. 1In a blender, add the mangoes, water, lime juice, and sugar. Puree until smooth.
  2. 2Add sugar or lime juice as needed.
  3. 3Separate a portion of the mango puree and add chamoy sauce and chili powder.
  4. 4Pour into popsicle molds and freeze.
  5. 5Enjoy.
