Meh. That's about it. It was ok, it was bland, not very custardy. Won't be making this again. Not very impressed.

It turned out really well. Everyone loved them. It was really cool how it went in the oven really liquids but once it set it was this amazing cake.

No clue what 4 and 5 star reviews are all about. Made this cake and was sorely disappointed at the bland taste and very gummy thick base. There was barely any custard layer. I'm an experienced baker so I know what I'm doing and followed recipe exactly. A real waste of ingredients as my husband and I couldn't stomach the taste so I threw out the entire cake in the garbage!

This recipe is wonderful! I made it a couple of times and everybody loved it! It's very simple and easy to make and so good! It's definitely a keeper. ;)

I actually love this recipe and have made it several times for friends and family. I have even made a chocolate version! I am a huge fan of the texture, consistency and most of all the taste. It keeps well in the fridge when you need a snack. I am also a fan of the fact that it is not very sweet on its own so it is a great vessel for for powdered sugar.

Awful and bland. I can't even describe the taste, since it had none! I could have used the thing to spackle my wall. I had my family sample it, and they didn't like it either.
