Sometimes the appetizer or snack is the best part of a dinner or evening. If you want to make an appetizer that can also be served as the dinner bread, then this recipe for Macaroni Salad is so decadent and delicious that you will want them with every meal. The buttery scone is packed with palate pleasing grated parmesan cheese, chopped green olives and aromatic rosemary for a treat that is out of this world.


  • 1 package macaroni
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 3 tomatoes
  • pepper salami
  • 2 teaspoons capers
  • olive oil
  • balsamic vinegar


  1. Cook pasta to al dente in boiling salted water.
  2. Boil the egg, peel and chop.
  3. Wash tomatoes and cut into small cubes.
  4. Peel and dice the cucumber.
  5. Cut thin slices of pepper salami and cut them in half.
  6. Serve the macaroni on individual plates, garnish with chopped egg, tomato, cucumber, and capers.
  7. Top with salami.
  8. Season with a vinaigrette made with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
