- 1 tsp. almond extract (can also use vanilla extract)
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 6 Tbsp. heavy cream
- 1 drop food coloring (I used green)

These turned out well! I suggest stay toward undercooking. When using the suggested time the didn’t look golden, but they developed a harder skin (could also try using less flour rolling out). Ended up undercooking a couple and could tell the top middle was on the raw side and threw them out. I think I will sacrifice a few in the future to decide cook time wherever I am. I used anise flavor, turquoise frosting with pink pearl sprinkles. They really looked good. I didn’t skimp on resting and setting, but I might put in the fridge on trays or racks a bit before packaging just to help the the frosting set a tiny bit more.
