- 4 sweet potatoes (medium)
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Tbsp. bourbon
- 1 Tbsp. maple syrup (plus more if desired)
- 1 dash ground nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 6 strips bacon (cooked and crumbled)

Directions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
- Pierce each sweet potato 2-3 times with a fork and arrange on a baking sheet.

It was a little too sweet for me—if I made it again I’d tweak a bit (maybe it just needed more salt?).

I didn’t have bourbon, so I just made it without, and it still turned out great! I loved the savory and sweet combo with the syrup and bacon. Will definitely make again.
