- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 4 cups 1% milk (or skim)
- 1 cup nonfat chicken broth (low sodium)
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt (or more or less to your liking)
- 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper (fresh)
- 2 teaspoons dijon mustard
- 1 cup reduced fat sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)
- 5 ounces albacore tuna (cans of, packed in no liquid or in water, drained, and flaked apart)
