I am always looking for good easy soup recipes. This soup is very hearty. You could add whatever you want to this delicious soup. Chicken would be very good. Extra spices and garlic give it more flavor. Carrots add lovely color as well. This is a soup that would be great in the fall served along with crusty bread. You could also put this in the slow cooker for a ready to eat meal after work. I will be making this soup again.
