Lemon Sorbet with a little smell of Basil

Ingredients

  • 350 grams brown sugar (i didn't have more white one)
  • 150 grams water
  • 1/2 orange
  • 8 basil leaves
  • 400 grams ice
  • 250 milliliters lemon juice

Directions

  1. Make a syrup with sugar, water, orange peel and 3 basil leaves finely chopped.
  2. Allow to cool and strain.
  3. Mince the ice, mix with the lemon juice.
  4. Finely chop the remaining basil leaves and add to the previous mixture.
  5. Add the cold syrup and stir well.
  6. Put the mixture in the freezer and stir it every 3 hours to loosen up.
  7. Before serving, grind it in the food processor.
  8. Serve with chocolate cake.
