Lovely muffin. Had a nice crumb and the moisture was perfect. Lightly sweet flavor which I love. However, I had to use white whole wheat flour instead of the pastry flour, because that was all I had on hand. I find the whole wheat a little overpowering. The whole wheat pastry flour might not be as strong. I will be making these again, so I might try the pastry flour or 1/2 all purpose and 1/2 white whole wheat.

Great! I didn't use pastry flour but organic white, maple instead of honey, and vegetable oil instead of walnut oil (what?!). Turned out great: just sweet enough, good texture, great flavors. Next time I would like to try with the whole wheat pastry flour. Made 2.5 doz with tins 3/4 full.

Not nearly sweet enough but otherwise a good recipe! Will try and adapt next time I make it. Made with normal wholemeal flour as didn't have pastry flour. Was fine like this.
