Description

These muffins have the perfect combination of flavors. Made with fresh lemon zest and topped with cinnamon and sugar, these muffins will disappear quickly!

Ingredients

100 grams margarine
2 eggs
120 grams sugar
100 grams flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 lemon zest
1 tablespoon butter (melted, more if necessary)
sugar (to taste)
cinnamon (to taste)

Directions

1Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius.
2Place cupcake papers in an ungreased muffin tin, or grease a muffin tin.
3Soften the margarine in the microwave.
4Beat the eggs along with the sugar until it becomes a soft, almost white mixture.
5Add the flour and baking powder and mix well.
6Finally, add the lemon zest and the softenened margarine and mix everything well.
7Pour the batter into the muffin tins, filling each cup two thirds to the top.
8Bake the cupcakes for about 5 minutes, then lower the temperature to 200 degrees Celsius and bake for about 10 more minutes.
9Remove from the oven and, while they are still warm, brush the muffins with the butter and roll the tops in the sugar and cinnamon mix.
